Dear VC Community,
We hope that this email finds you, your business, and your families safe during these unprecedented times. When we wrapped up our 49th annual Business Outlook Conference last January, no one could imagine we would be managing the effects of a global pandemic to the extent that we are.
VCEDA feels that our business community needs to come together and support each other, now more than ever—to discuss the ongoing issues we are facing locally, statewide, and as a nation, and to celebrate 50 years of the Business Outlook Conference.
We invite you to join us for our LIVE, VIRTUAL, & INTERACTIVEBusiness Outlook Conference, Friday, January 15, 2021.
COVID-19 has impacted many of our organizations financially this year, which is why VCEDA is offering sponsor levels and registration rates at half the cost of our normal conference prices. Your sponsorship dollars help VCEDA host informative conferences like the BOC and support VCEDA’s efforts to advocate for member businesses throughout the year.
Please read below for more information on registration, award nominations, and sponsorship details.
Although nothing will ever take the place of us gathering in person together, we are still excited to celebrate 50 years of our Business Outlook Conference, even if it is in a different way this year.
Thank you for all that you do on behalf of our Ventura County business community. We hope that you will join us online January, 15, 2021!
As Ventura County’s primary business advocate, the Ventura County Economic Development Association convenes our 50th annual Business Outlook Conference (BOC). The Business Outlook Conference (BOC) is the most recognized and longest standing conference in Ventura County for business leaders and advocates, and has long been considered to be the premiere event that showcases and discusses the policies, programs and practices that strengthen our county’s economic vitality. Conference attendees include Ventura County decision-makers, subject-matter experts, business executives, community leaders, and elected officials.
The BOC attracts more than 200 Ventura County decision-makers, subject-area experts, business executives, community leaders, and elected officials.
The theme for this year's conference is Economic Recovery After COVID-19: The Future of Work—a critical topic to address as we continue to face an ongoing recession locally, statewide, and as a nation. VCEDA’s goal for our first interactive virtual conference is to invite participants and speakers from outside Ventura County who can offer their unique perspectives, not only with regards to short-term economic recovery but long term strategies that address a workplace that has changed forever.
Our virtual conference will offer many of the same components you've come to love at our in-person conference! You will have access to numerous learning and networking opportunities through various interactive keynote addresses, panel discussions and sponsor booths. You can continue to interact with other attendees and walk away feeling connected.
